私の両親

私の家族は四人で母と父と姉と私です。姉と私はハワイに生まれたから、家族はハワイに住んでいます。両親は病院につとめています。父は医者で、母はナースです。両親は病院で会った、二年まで結婚をしていました。かわいいですね。

黒いシャツを着ている男の人は父です。父は目が青くて花と耳が大きいです。父はあたまがよくて、いろいろなスポーツが上手です。毎朝ジョギングをしていて、仕事に来ます。

一番背が低くてかみがみじかい女の人は母です。母はやさしそうだけど、とてもきびしいですよ。毎週の土曜日にうちの中でぜんぶそうじをしているから、うちはとてもきれいです。母は料理を作るのが上手です。中か料理と和食とよう食とイタリア料理もう作ります。ぜんぶおいしいものんです。

Spring Semester PE Goals

As a new student, Pronunciation Exercises will definitely be a new challenge, but I feel confident that I will be able to improve on my fluency throughout the semester. I think that my speaking sounds relatively natural and my American accent is not blaringly obvious, but I think that by carefully nailing the nasal "n" sound and focusing on prosody, I will start to sound more natural. 

My methods of reaching this goal are:

1. Shadow anime in order to understand not only prosody of words and phrases, but also how to convey emotions.
2. Go to office hours (especially with Shibata sensei) at least once every two weeks in order to get a better grasp of pitch. 
3. Speak conversationally with other Japanese students and native speakers in order to become more comfortable with the language and better at quickly forming coherent responses. 

I hope I will begin to sound more natural though these methods and also gain more accuracy in my pronunciation!

中休みにロサンゼルスへ行きました。プリンストンにゆめがふっていったからあたたかいところへ行きたいでした。お姉さんはポモーナ大学生ですからポモーナ大学で泊まりました。お姉といろいろなところへ行きまして、とてもしゃしんを撮りました。

私とお姉はロサンゼルスの前にしゃしんをとりました。

ロサンゼルスのいろいろなびじゅつかんへ行きまして、とてもおいしい食べ物を食べて行きました。和食は私の一ばん好きな食べ物だから、おすしを食べましたか。私はうれしかったです！私たちはかんこくりょうりも食べました。すごかったですよ！この休みはとてもたのしいです。
